Linda L. Greer, 79, of Clifton Park N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam N.Y.
Born August 26, 1943, in Schenectady N.Y., she was the daughter to the late Harry R. and Katherine (Gretten) Lawrence of Glenville, N.Y.
Linda graduated from Burnt Hills High School, and later attended Mildred Elley Business School. She was a Technical Secretary at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for many years. Linda loved to spend time with her family, and her beloved cats. She had a fond love of travel, visiting several places throughout the US, including her favorite Arizona, where she resided for a time. Linda found great joy in shopping for various items of interest for her family, always providing a smile on the faces of those she loved.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah E. (Nick) Field, two granddaughters, Charlotte and Calleigh Field, and her cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 11:00am - 12:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 12:00pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
