Linda L. Hohn

March 5, 1941 — April 27, 2022

Linda L. Hohn, 81, of Delmar, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 26, 2022.

She was born in Walton, NY on March 5, 1941 to the late Pete and Ethel Owens.

Linda graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in Dental Hygiene, she worked as a Dental hygienist most of her life. She was very active in counseling other women with Breast Cancer, and formed a group called The Capital Region Breast Cancer Coalition. Linda attended Grace Fellowship where she was member of a Bible study group. She was very passionate about helping other people.

She loved spending time at her lake house, reading and taking long walks, and she especially loved to spend time with family and friends. Linda enjoyed watching birds in her backyard, taking walks with her grand dog Riley, attending her grandkids softball games and making her famous chocolate cake for everyone's birthday and playing piano. Linda looked forward to visiting her son and his family in North Carolina every year.


In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Richard Hohn, baby sister Nancy Ann Owens and sister in law Jeannie Owens.

Linda is survived by her children, Steve (Jodi) Herzog, Laura (John) Reyna, Mark (Sarah) Herzog, grandchildren, Mackenzie and Paige Mazula, Sophia and Max Herzog, Matthew (Shannen) Herzog, Keegan Reyna, brothers Dennis Owens, Jack (Lita) Owens, sister in law Holly Boughton and her best friend and "sister" Sherry (Lynn) Davis, and longtime friend and companion Bruce Heathwaite.

A service will be held on Tuesday May 3rd at 11am at Grace Fellowship Church 20 Delatour Rd #1, Watervliet, NY 12189. A reception will immediately follow at Grace Fellowship.
