ROTTERDAM – Linda J. Frye, 67, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Inn of Community Hospice, after a long illness.
She was born in Niskayuna and was the daughter of the late Anthony M. and Marion E. Phillips. Linda had been a cafeteria aide at Pinewood Intermediate School in Rotterdam for several years. She enjoyed knitting and photography.
Linda is the beloved wife of forty four years to Chuck Frye. She is the devoted Mother of Chrissy (Brian) Cook. Linda is the sister of Michael (Carol) Phillips and the cherished grandmother of Angelica and Zander Cook. She is the niece of Blondie Delaney. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Linda J. Frye.
