ALBANY – Linda M. Fleming, 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Linda was born on June 23, 1944 in Ferndale, Michigan and was the daughter of the late David and Shirley (Szumski) Topping. She served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1965. She was an accountant for 31 years for the Albany County Department of Social Services, retiring in October of 2000. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and bowling.
Linda is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jody Fleming of Schenectady; her cherished granddaughter, Kendall M. Fleming; her sisters, Connie, Bonnie, Terry and Carol; her brother, Doug and several nieces.
As per Linda's wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Angels in Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Linda M. Fleming.
