Linda M. Harrold

ROTTERDAM-Linda M. Harrold, 67 of Rotterdam, NY passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born in the Town of Niskayuna, the daughter of Lloyd and Doris (Stringham) Graham. She was a teacher's aide at Wildwood in Albany, where she enjoyed working with special education children. Linda volunteered at the Farano Center and fostered two children that she eventually adopted. She loved family gatherings and taking trips out of state. Linda was a sports fan, who enjoyed football and baseball. She was a diehard Yankees fan. Linda also enjoyed camping at Lake Lucerne and Lake Schroon. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rotterdam VFW. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Linda is survived by her lifelong friend Donna Montgomery; children Renee Brown (Quinton), Shane Kingsland and Jason Kingsland; grandchildren Aaron Brown, Quinton Brown, Jr., Elizabeth Brown, and Alexandra Kingsland-Smith; great grandchildren Aubrey Brown and Aaron Brown, Jr.; siblings Gayle Graham, Jerry Gumlaw, and Tanya Loomis; nieces and nephews George Loomis IV, Donya Benson (her God Child), Shannon Loomis and Eula Graham and by several great nieces and great nephews.
Linda was predeceased by two sons Derrick Brown and Demetrius Harrold.
At Linda's request there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Farano Center, Albany, NY or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Menands, NY in memory of Linda.
