SCHENECTADY- Linda M. Rector, 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family.
Linda was born in Niskayuna, NY to the late Wallace and Doris Holden on April 9, 1947. In 1967 Linda married the love of her life, Charles H. Rector. They were married for 50 years, and together they raised three children. Linda worked as an LPN for over 45 years. She retired from Schenectady Hospice. Linda will be remembered for her caring nature. Her passion in life was her family.
Linda is predeceased by her brother, Rick Holden.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles H. Rector, her children, Donna (Garrett) Cowsert, Laurie Smith, and Michael Rector, her grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan, her great grandchildren, Andrew Jr. and Jackson, her brother, Terry Holden, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
