Linda J. Sabatini (Lamme), 55, passed away Sunday March 1, 2009 after a long illness at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a long battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Albany, a daughter to Lois (Herb) Kuhn and Roy Lamme. She was a lifelong resident of Guilderland and had worked for New York State for thirty-one years. Linda was artistically creative and enjoyed making jewelry and working in the family flower garden. She loved to travel, getting to know people and the family's beloved pets.
She is survived by her husband of more than 26 years, Christopher J. Sabatini, their children: Nicole L. Sabatini of Guilderland and Jonathan C. Sabatini of Guilderland, grandson Cole C. Sabatini, her brother Tom (Cheryl) Lamme, sister Anne (David) Lamme- Pankratz, step-brothers Herb (Kayaoko) Kuhn, Jeff Kuhn, step-sister Debbie Dagostino, sisters-in-law Linda Klein-Sabatini, Gina Sabatini, brothers-in-law Michael (Penny) Sabatini, James (Karen) Sabatini, many nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her son Trevor Max in 1987.
Linda generously donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00pm at the Mc Kownville United Methodist Church, 1565 Western Ave., Albany. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 or Cancer Research of ones choices.
