Linda M. Saccone, age 71, of Altamont, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
Linda was born on September 1, 1952 to Anthony and Mary Josephine Saccone in Albany, NY. She graduated from Vincentian Institute in 1970 and from the Memorial School of Nursing in 1973. Linda went on to work as a registered nurse for over 40 years.
Linda possessed the innate ability to care for others. She always put others first and treasured the relationships she formed with her patients and others. Not only was she kind and compassionate, she was also an extremely gifted artist. Her creativity was truly limitless.
Linda was a wonderful mother and is survived by her daughter Kristen (Tom) Ringler; brother, Robert (Kathy); sister, Patricia; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, May 21st at 10am at St. Lucy's Church in Altamont, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's name to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208. https://www.communityhospice.org/donate/
