Linda T. Sanders

Linda T. Sanders, 67, wife of the late Sterling Sanders, passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at home.

Born December 18th, 1954 in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of Reverend Thomas R. Edmond and the late Ruby Edmonds.

Mrs. Sanders graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. She worked many years at Albany Medical Center and the Center of Disability. She loved to dress up and put on her dancing shoes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her father, Reverend Thomas R. Edmond, her loving son Willie (Jill)Turner, and 2 grandsons, Kashawn and Logan. She is also survived by her sister Cynthia Edmonds and her brothers Everett Edmonds and Thomas R. Edmonds Jr. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her husband Sterling, she was predeceased by her brother Curtis A. Edmonds.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., with a service following. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Delaware Ave, Albany NY.
