Albany- Linda C. Schumaker passed away peacefully on April 21, 2021 at the age of 77. Linda was born in Albany on March 15, 1944.
Linda is predeceased by her brother Albert Blake.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard "Dick" Schumaker and sister Ruth Werschler who resides in Las Vegas.
Linda lived an interesting life filled with change. Raised in Albany, moved to the country with Dick, back to Albany, moved south to North Carolina then back to Clifton Park, then finally one last stop in New Hampshire. Linda's career was much the same, homemaker to part time work then a keyboard specialist at the state. Midlife welcomed her desire to become a nurse which she proudly did and retired from doing that.
Linda is survived by her 4 children: Lisa Schumaker of Cohoes, Michael (Shelly) Schumaker of Latham, David (Steve) Schumaker of Manchester N.H., Richard (Patricia) Schumaker Jr. of Virginia, and many grandchildren.
Services will be private.
