Linda Melrose Watkins, 63, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her son, Mathew Philpot; mother, Janie Franklin; siblings, Donna Watkins, Leonard Watkins (Karen), Trina Walker (Edsall), Robin Craig (Timothy), Rhonda Ferguson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her son, Jason Edward Mayo and her sister, Andrea Campbell.
A Home Going Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Clinton Ave, Albany, NY 12206 at 11:00am with Pastor Theresa Surgick, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00am-11:00am at the church prior to services. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Albany, NY.
