Harriman, Lindy
Albany – Lindy G. Harriman, 83, passed away peacefully Monday, November 15, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a long illness with Parkinsons Disease.
He was born in Moriah, NY the son of the late George and Bella Harriman. Lindy was a truck driver with the Teamsters Local #294 for 35 years. He was a communicant of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, a member of the West Albany Rod and Gun Club, and loved hunting and fishing, but above all cherished the moments with his family. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was the beloved husband of Alberta (Nedeau) Harriman, loving father of Linda (Boyd) Haynes of Mineville, NY, Brenda (John) Belcastro of Brunswick, NY and David (Sheri) Harriman of Colonie, NY, grandfather to Kelly, Billy, Scott, Christopher, Nicholas, Jillian, Ryan and Jenna, great-grandfather to Ashlyn, Austin, Kaitlin, William, Justin and Christopher. He is also survived by his brothers Harold Harriman and Edward Harriman and was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Thompson.

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Pine Grove United Methodist Church 1580 Central Ave., Albany. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Lindy in a special way, may make memorial contributions to Albany County Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
