August 17, 1976 — December 1, 2017
Rotterdam - Lisamarie Walsh, age 41 passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle with cancer.
Lisamarie was born in Niskayuna, NY to Paul Butrym and Linda Gauvin (Bill). Lisamarie worked for the Schalmont school district. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their camp on Sacandaga Lake. Lisamarie also enjoyed her annual trips to Florida with her mother and sister Michelle for "girls weekend" and spending many vacations with her family at Disney World. Lisamarie loved spending time in the sun and was always the life of the party loved by all.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 21 yrs Joseph, their son Alec and daughter Jillian. Lisamarie is also survived by her sister (best friend) Michelle Rangel (Steve), Aunt to Justin and Brooke Rangel.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Friday, Decemeber 8, 2017 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 9:00am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304.
