Lloyd Robitaille

COLONIE-Lloyd N. Robitaille, 89, formerly of Colonie, passed way on Monday January 29, 2007 at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa after a long illness. He was born in Springfield, MA, and was the son of the late George and Selma Robitaille.
Lloyd had served in the US Army prior to WWII. He was a truck drive with Keebler Cookies and Crackers for over 25 years, retiring in 1971. For a number of years, Lloyd was a dedicated volunteer as a Lieutenant with Colonie Auxilalry Police He enjoyed many years of retirement with his wife in Florida. He was predeceased in 1998 by his beloved wife Ester (Sis) Robitaille.
He is the devoted father of Patricia Gregory, Carolyn (Frank) Balthazar, Donald (Ann) Robitaille and Gail (Joseph) Kotowski. Lloyd is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at St. Francis de Sales Church, Maria Drive, Loudonville where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday morning beginning at 8:30 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
