COLONIE – Lois Green, 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital.
Lois was born on November 21, 1926 in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Donald and Frances Shaver Decker. She worked as a clerk for SUNY at Albany for over 10 years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, camping and traveling. She was a member of St. Clare's Church and an auxiliary member of the Colonie Village Fire Co.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Arthur F. Green; her sons, Edward (Maureen) Green of Ballston Spa and Jeff (Anita) Green of Colonie; her daughter, Patricia (Rick) Amsler of Collegeville, PA; her grandchildren, Matthew and Shanon Green, Melissa, Jeffrey and Ryan Green, and Michelle and Michael Amsler; her brother-in-law, Edward B. (Anne) Green of Colonie and two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 8:15 a.m. Monday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Clare's Church, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
