COLONIE – Lois E. Marr, 82, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late George and Amelia Watson, Sr. Lois lived in the Albany area for most of her life. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping, reading, ceramics and needlepoint. Lois was the wife of the late Floyd L. Marr, Sr. She is the devoted mother of George (Audrey) Marr, Floyd Marr, Jr., Richard (Carol) Marr, Sr., Roger Marr and Donna (Mark) Rising. She is the loving sister of Edwina Donnelly and the late George Watson, Jr. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Teddy, Michele, Cheryl, Stephen, James, Richard Jr., Elizabeth, Jessica, Amanda, Tommy and Lindsay and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Lois E. Marr.
