GLENVILLE – Lois L. Lansing Putorti, 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Lois was born on June 17, 1936 in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Nicholas Paul and Eleanor Stewart (Palmer) Gardino. She was a real estate agent with Realty USA in Colonie for the past 17 years. She enjoyed music, dancing and traveling, but most especially spending time with her family.
Lois is survived by her husband, Joseph D. Putorti; her loving daughters, Eleanor M. (Joel) Deschamps of Wilmington, NC, Kelly (Tony) Stamas-Audino of Newcomb, NY; her cherished grandchildren, Eric R. (Julie) Nous, Robert J. (Sarah) Wadsworth, Nicole B. (Jason Cole) Wadsworth, Michael J. (Kim) Wadsworth, Amanda E. (Phaedra) Hunter, Kori L. Deschamps, and Brian J. Deschamps and 12 precious great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Adams and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 30 years, Dewitt E. Lansing, he passed away on February 7, 2000.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302 in memory of Lois L. Lansing Putorti.
