Lois D. Laliberte

Latham - Lois D. Laliberte, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Olga DeLaMater. Lois was the devoted wife to Robert J. Laliberte, Sr. They were married for 60 years.
After graduating from The College of Saint Rose, Lois committed her life to the education of children, creating positive impacts in the lives of all her students. She worked as a teacher for Gardner-Dickinson School in Wynantskill for 35 years where she found many friends in her coworkers.
Lois loved spending time with her entire family and enjoyed cooking for them. In her free time, she liked playing Bingo and going to garage sales.
Lois is survived by her husband, Robert Laliberte Sr.; son, Robert (Ann Marie) Laliberte, Jr.; grandson, Connor Laliberte; sister, Carol Gabe; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lois is predeceased by her sister Constance Griffin.
The family would like to thank Colonie EMS and the doctors and nurses at Samaritan Hospital for their kind and compassionate care they provided to Lois and her family.
