COLONIE – Lois P. Klapp, 80, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Lubner. Lois was the wife of 59 years to the late Frederick C. Klapp, he passed away on February 23, 2007. She worked for New York State in both the Education Department and the Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Department before retiring in 1983. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandsons.
Lois is the loving mother of Keith (Sue) Klapp and Paul (Gwen) Klapp. She is the cherished grandmother of Matthew, David and Jordan Klapp and sister-in-law of Mathias (Joy) Klapp. She is also survived a niece and a nephew.
Graveside services will be Wednesday morning at 11:30 at Memory's Garden. A calling hour will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
