ALBANY – Lois A. Tuohey (Vita) passed away at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home on March 19, 2023 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her five daughters, Patti Duff (Tom) of Loudonville, NY, Jacqui Conlin of Albany, NY, Cathy Sousa (David) of Milford, NJ, Christine Flubacher (Steve) of Northville, NY, Melissa Tuohey-Lerch (Brian) of Clay, NY; her seven grandchildren, Megan, Thomas (Shelley), Julia, David, Angela, Jordan (Tylor) and Stephen; her first great grandchild, Thomas Duff. Sister to John Vita Jr. and Joyce Vita.
She was predeceased by her parents, John Sr. and Julia (DeRocco) Vita
There will be no calling hours or services held.
She was deeply concerned about Veterans and Wounded Warriors. Contributions may be made in her name to US Veterans Affairs, 17 Computer Drive, W., Albany, NY 12205 or Wounded Warriors, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
