Lois Watt, 87, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Saratoga Center Rehab. & Skilled Nursing Care, with her loving family by her side.
Lois was the daughter of the late Ernest Benway and Anna (Mufla) Benway.
Lois was the devoted wife, of over 35 years to the late Alexander Watt Jr., who passed away in 1983.
Lois was the happiest sitting on her porch at her home on Schroon River in Pottersville, New York.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Linda Watt (Kevin) Cappallo of The Villages, Florida and Elizabeth Watt (Richard) Stewart of Malta, New York. She is the cherished grandmother of Kelly Cappallo (Doug) Wain, Kyle (Courtney) Cappallo, James (Marcy) Stewart, Jody (John) Stewart Scott and Melissa Kopp-Maye, along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Alice Kirtley and her brother John Benway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A service of remembrance will be held at 6:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation Northeastern NY Chapter 1717 Central Avenue, Suite 105 Albany, NY 12205 or at www.arthritis.org in memory of Lois.
