Lona M. Flannery

Albany - Lona M. Flannery, 58, passed away after her battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Lona was the daughter of John and Mary Dunleavy. Lona was the loving wife to Michael Flannery.

Lona enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at the family camp, ATVing, Snowmobiling, and trips to the ocean. Lona also had fun going to weekly Zumba classes and taking walks with friends and family. Her life was her family, which meant everything to her.

Lona enjoyed her career at NYS Insurance Fund. She will be greatly missed by all who were touched by her.

Lona is survived by her son, Kyle; her brothers, Patrick and Sean. Lona is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00pm . A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm . Inurnment will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
