Lora Marie Cafaro-Rossman
1968-2022

Schoharie, NY- Lora M. Cafaro, 54 passed away with her sister Lisa by her side in the comfort of her own home on July 22, 2022 after a courageous 6 year long battle with lung cancer.

She is the first born child & daughter of Margaret "Peggy" E. Rosenthal & the late James "Jim" A. Rossman Sr.

She is survived by her stepfather John C. Rosenthal I & her best friend & husband of many years Michael J. Cafaro I.

Lora was the eldest of her siblings. She is survived by Lisa M. Steidle, James "Jay" Rossman Jr., Christina J. Sleicher, Dana J. Soto, Cindy J. Rosenthal, Stacy L. Rossman, Julie Rossman, & John C. Rosenthal II.

She was a loving mother to her children Amanda M. Rivers, Taylor R. Demarest, Lora M. Cafaro, & Michael J. Cafaro II. Her children provided her with a numerous grandchildren & they all meant the world to her.

Lora was a hard worker & wore many hats over the years & had many occupations. But being a mother to her children was her favorite occupation of them all. For many years Lora worked as a waitress for Johnny Hot Dog's. For a number of years Lora worked a receptionist for the Peter G. Young clinic, helping other addicts. Lora's last occupation before falling ill was as office manager & dispatcher for Yellow Cab Co./Advantage Transit Group, Inc.

Lora enjoyed gambling, she was an avid reader & scrabble player. She enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by good company & laughs. Lora had an infectious laugh & sense of humor that will be sorely missed.

Lora's courageous battle with cancer is over now, & she can rest without suffering.
