Loran A. Henderson

Loran Andrew Henderson, "Sparky", 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Ellis Hospital. Loran was born in St. Joseph, MO., to the late Phillip and Cassie Henderson. Loran proudly served with the United Stated Army. He was an avid golfer and loved to repair older Porsche's. In addition to his parents, Loran was predeceased by his sister, Susan.
Loran is survived by his loving wife, Norma (Boyd) Henderson; he is the brother of, Jane, Rose and Vicki. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Charles and Barbara; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, and a calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice in Loran's memory.
