Loretta A. Welch

LATHAM – Loretta A. Welch, 68, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Friday August 5, 2011.
She was born August 7, 1942 in Albany to the late Frank and Theresa Spenziero. Loretta was employed in the insurance business for many years, most recently with Capital Bauer Insurance, before retiring. She enjoyed working on her computer and spending time with her loving family.
Loretta is the beloved wife of 47 years to Robert T. Welch Sr. She is the beloved mother of Robert T. (Kaia) Welch Jr., Sandy Venditti and Dana (Daniel) Taylor. Loretta is the sister of Jean (Harry) Shannon, Dominick (Rose) Spenziero and Frank Spenziero. She is the cherished Grammy of Alyssa and Logan Welch, Tessa, Brianna and Grayce Venditti and Abagael Taylor. Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National VA Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Albany Medical Center Foundation, Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, 43 New Scotland Ave. Albany, NY 12208-3478.
