ALBANY – Loretta M. Rivenburg, 78, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital with her family by her side.
Loretta was born in Fort Covington, NY on February 25, 1929, but spent most of her life in the Albany and Rensselaer area. She was an avid bingo player and expert seamstress. She was predeceased by her husband, William Rivenburg. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith Tuper and sister of the late Benedict and Emerson Tuper. She is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Karen (George) Earl of Las Vegas, NV and Barbara (Mark) Little of Bomoseen, VT; three sons, Thomas and William Rivenburg of Colonie and Michael (Paula) Rivenburg of Niverville, NY; her 7 grandchildren, Clifford (Shannon) Earl of Ballston Lake, Barry (Maren) Earl of Riverview, FL, Lute (Shen) Pidgeon of Bomoseen, VT, Lenè (Kevin) Gipe of Yuma, AZ, Amanda Rivenburg of Colonie, Maija Rivenburg of Niverville, NY and Dustin Little of Wilkes-Barre, PA; her three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Matthew Pidgeon of Bomoseen, VT and Brianna Earl of Riverview, FL; her sister, Dorothy Lansing of Cape Cod, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.).
