Loretta Mary Laplante

Loretta LaPlante, 78, passed away on Sunday May 16, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born in Troy to the late Lester and Ethul (Lesson) Villeneuve. She enjoyed boating and camping with her family but her true passion was for her flowers. In addition to her parents Loretta was predeceased by her loving husband John LaPlante, Sr. and her son Frederick LaPlante.
Loretta is survived by her five children; John (Audrey) LaPlante, Jr., Thomas (Dennine) LaPlante, Loretta M. (William) Parsons, James (Frances) LaPlante and William (Ann) LaPlante. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-South of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment will by in Guilderland Center Cemetery, Guilderland.
