Loretta Wynell Robinson was born on December 5, 1930 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Erien Ligon and Fred Wynn. Loretta made her transition to glory on April 22, 2024.

Loretta's entire adult life was spent in service to others. She was affectionately and respectfully known throughout the neighborhood as "Ma". She took great joy in nurturing, feeding and often disciplining the young people, including the athletes of Philip Schuyler, Albany High, and Siena College.

Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her children: Mary Boston, Thelma Young, Samuel Robinson, Rosetta Rawlins, Fred (Adrienne) Daniels, and sister Erielyne McDaniel.

Grand children: Lola (Russell) Brabham Harris, Loretta Hamilton, David Brabham, Julandah Young, Samuel, Cleveland, Lynette, Jason, and Aegean Robinson; Jamelle, Nicole, and Tyler-Christian Daniels; and Erien Rawlins.

Great-grandchildren: Nehemoyia Young, Lauren (Harrison) Hamilton Kratz, Justin and Jerard Robinson, Kaylee-Angel Moody Brabham, Era'Johnna Dyer, Imani and Nashadi Chandler, Marilyn, Jacqueline, and Victorious Robinson, Naviah Ann Domoto; a much loved cousin Matilda Ligon, dear family friend Kevin Luizzi, a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Loretta was predeceased by husband Cleveland Robinson, sons Cleveland and Harold Robinson; siblings Fredine Goodall, Mary Louise McDade, Jane Merrill, John Wynn, and beloved aunt Julia Ligon Williams.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 23rd from 1pm-2pm with a service at 2pm.
