ROTTERDAM – Lori K. Angillo, 54, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of Thomas and Doris Angillo.
Lori graduated from Shalmont High School with honors and SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor's degree. She worked for the UPS Store in Rotterdam and part time for the Schenectady Museum. It was there that Lori met many of her long time friends. An animal lover, she was known to take in stray cats. Lori loved being with her family more than anything else.
Along with her parents, Lori is survived by her sister and best friend Sheri E. Angillo of Rocky Hill, CT. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
At the request of the family, in lieu of funeral services, please donate to the Companion Animal Placement Program, 279 Troy Road, Suite 9, Rensselaer, NY 12144 or the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 IN Lori's name.
