Lori A. Moutray

ALBANY- Lori Moutray, age 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long fight on June 28, 2021.
She was born on October 17, 1964, in Albany, NY, the daughter of Harry and Marjorie Whipple.

Lori was a graduate of Colonie Central High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College. She worked at Albany County Nursing Home for many years before becoming disabled.

She enjoyed camping, reading, drawing, games of mental fortitude, animals and helping others with anything in their time of need.

Lori is survived by her husband, Peter Moutray; son, John Moutray; daughter, Crystal Zurek (Daniel); siblings: Harry Whipple (Maryann), Mark Whipple (Anita), Bob Whipple (Linda), David Whipple, Beth Whipple (Chris) and Amy Borst (Mark). Also survived by many other family and friends. Lori was predeceased by her brother Paul Whipple.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York. All are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
