SCHENECTADY- Lorraine R. Chase, 66, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 with her loving husband by her side.
Lorraine was born in Albany, NY on August 23, 1950 to the late Robert and Rita Adams. On December 4, 1971 Lorraine married the love of her life, Larry Chase. They were married for 45 years. Together they had two children. Lorraine's passion in life was children, and she worked for over 20 years at the "Kids Time Children's Program" at the Jewish Community Center in Schenectady where she will be greatly missed.
Lorraine is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kelly Jo Chase, her two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Chase, her son, David (Laurelyn) Chase, her grandson, Lochlan Chase, her three brothers, and her three sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A memorial service will start at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lorraine's name to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave, Scotia, NY 12302
