Lorraine E.Cenci- Vanamburgh

SCHENECTADY- Lorraine E. Cenci-VanAmburgh, 59, of Schenectady, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital.
She was born and educated in Albany and was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Ruth Yanas Leahy. Lorraine had worked for several years as a Customer Service Manager with American Airlines at Newark Airport. She enjoyed traveling, the ocean, wintering in Florida and flower gardening. Lorraine was devoted to her cherished pets, Lucy and Max.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael R. Cenci, Kimberly (Ronald) Pallotolo and Angela C. (William) Sise. She is the sister of Nancy K. Dodge-Jordan and the late Lance Corporal Richard J. Leahy. Lorraine is the proud grandmother of Juliana, Alexandria, Angelina and Gabriella Gazzillo.
Calling hours will be Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Helen's Church, Union St. Schenectady. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted Street-Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60642-2642 in memory of Lorraine E. VanAmburgh.
