COLONIE – Lorraine G. Pfeiffer, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Lorraine was born on September 16, 1932 in Glenville and was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Roxanne (Gladd) Hathaway. She worked in the business office at Ellis Hospital for many years. She enjoyed making Native American jewelry.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert A. Pfeiffer, her sons, Kurt (Merly) Kapelle, Kenneth (Nona) Pfeiffer and Roger (Paz) Pfeiffer; her daughter, Linda Pfeiffer; her grandchildren, Kory Pfeiffer, Alia Kapelle and Mary Belle Pfeiffer; her sister, Kathleen (Raymond) Appleby and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Hathaway.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Memory's Garden in Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
