Lorraine J. Coshun

Albany- Lorraine J. "Liz" Coshun, 78, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday evening, August 8, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. Lorraine had worked as a senior clerk for the NYS Div. of Criminal Justice Services retiring in 1992. Liz was an avid reader and "the Wal-Mart's" number one customer. She received the most pleasure from spending time with family and friends on her front porch.
Liz is survived by her husband of 56 years James L. Coshun, Sr., her sons; Michael R. (Deborah) Coshun of Gainesville, FL., James L. (Gail) Coshun, Jr. of Orlando, FL., her daughters; Nancy E. Coshun (Robert Grace) of Albany, Loral A. (John) Hull of Rochester and Lynne M. Coshun of Colonie. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Four Gabrilove at St. Peters Hospital for their exceptional care, love and support of both Liz and her extended family during the past six months.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 6:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (RT. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. At the request of the family no flowers are to be sent. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of Lorraine J. Coshun.
