Lorraine M. Heider

LOUDONVILLE- Lorraine M. Heider, 79, of Loudonville, passed away suddenly on Thursday July 16, 2009 at Albany Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie Lukens Oevermann and the loving stepdaughter of the late Helen Oevermann. Lorraine was an avid bridge player. She was a longtime member of the Albany Curling Club and a member of the Lisha Kill Seniors. Lorraine will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Lorraine was predeceased in 2004 by her loving husband Harold H. Heider. She is the beloved mother of Bruce H. Heider (Dianne) of Gresham, OR., Steven H. Heider (Laurie) of Colonie and Kathleen M. Heider of Saratoga. Lorraine is the devoted sister of Robert Oevermann (Phyllis) of Ormond Beach, FL. She is the cherished grandmother of Gregory Heider (Kara), Sarah Lauffenburger (Tom), Pamela Heider, Eric Heider and Brittany Gilman. She is the great grandmother of Teagan and Zachary Lauffenburger and Mallory and Gavin Heider. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2 Shaker El, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Lorraine M. Heider.
