Lorraine Mclaughlin

NORTHVILLE—Lorraine "Lori" Alice Anne Williams Lather McLaughlin, 54, of Hope, NY died Saturday morning at Albany Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born April 9, 1957 in Bellevue Maternity Hospital in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late John Harris Williams and Mary Danko Wynn. Lori was raised in Albany, NY where she graduated from Vincentian Institute High School and Mildred Elley Business School. Lori enjoyed helping others and worked in various nursing facilities. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved her pets. In September 1979, Lori was married to William Lather.
Lori was predeceased by her father, John Harris Williams who passed away September 20, 2003 and a brother Mark Anthony Williams , who passed away November 19, 1999 Lori leaves behind her three treasured sons, William Lather, Jr. and his wife Caitlin, Jack Lather and Christopher Lather; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Maelyn Lather. Wife of James McLaughlin, all of Albany. Her mother, Mary Danko Wynn and Stepfather Michal Wynn of Saint Augustine, FL; a brother, John D. Williams and his wife Laurie of Gainesville, FL; her adored niece Allie Williams; nephews, Heath and Andrew Williams; aunt, Helen Danko Chmielewski and numerous relatives and dear friends also survive her.
Services will be held Thursday evening at 7 PM at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road (Rt. 155 South of Central Avenue). Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home, Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM.
