Lorraine M. Moscardini

GUILDERLAND- Lorraine Moscardini, 94, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2017, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Malden, MA, Lorraine was the daughter of Mary and John Bigelow, but spent most of her life in Schenectady as a homemaker. Music and family were her passions, but she also loved traveling, playing cards, shopping, bowling, and bingo.

For 43 years she was the beloved wife of her sweetie, the late Louis Moscardini. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Judith, her son, Thomas, and her grandson, Michael.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Penman (David) of Guilderland, and Jean Marks (John Houlihan) of Halfmoon, as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and her sisters in MA.
The family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home for their care and kindness.

Relatives and friends may visit New Comer Funerals & Cremations at 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Wednesday, July 12, from 10-12. A service will begin at 12pm. Interment will be held following services at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
