SARATOGA SPRINGS - Louise A. (Lou Ann) Bulmer of Saratoga Springs, NY, born on March 26, 1929, formerly of Troy died on Monday June 27, 2005 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Lou Ann graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1947. She also graduated from St. Joseph's Conservatory of Music and the Mildred Elley School. Her mastery of the piano contributed greatly to the happiness of the family and her many friends during countless gatherings.
Lou Ann married Joseph J. Bulmer Sr. on October 20, 1951. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Saratoga Springs. Lou Ann had a great lifelong love of music, gardening and travel. She served as the Honorary Chairperson for the Summer Evening in Saratoga Event to benefit Seton Health in 1997. Her unabiding commitment to her family as a homemaker brought her the greatest happiness and joy.
Lou Ann was preceeded in death by her parents, Louise and John Poland, her brother Jack and her sisters Janet Cannon and Nancy Hoyt. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dr. Joseph J Bulmer Sr., six children, Joseph J Bulmer Jr., David Bulmer and wife Annie, Kathleen Pellegrino and husband Stephen, Mark Bulmer and wife Clare, Paul Bulmer and wife Leslie, and Susan Bulmer. Lou Ann was also survived by ten grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her for her kindness and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Church in Troy Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm at the NewComer–Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie ( Rt. 155-south of Central). Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Troy.
