Louann M. Freitag

COLONIE – Louann M. Freitag, 68, died on January 11, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Louis and Marion Tanace. She is survived by her beloved sons, Karl (Helene Carro) Freitag of Albany and Robert (Lisa McGrath) Freitag; her grandsons, Douglas and Joseph Freitag; step-grandson, Alexander Meyers; her siblings, Arlene Strain, June (Nicholas) Ronca, Louis (Sharon) Tenace, Jr., and Virginia (Barry) Guild.
The family would like to thank Albany County Nursing Home, especially the third floor staff and Community Hospice of Albany for their exceptional compassion and care.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home. A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
