Louis Fitzgerald Henery,73, of Albany passed away on Friday December 21,2018 at his home .
Born in Eversham, Corentyne, Guyana South America on August 7, 1945. Louis was the son of the late John and Edna (King) Henery. In 1986, Louis married Joan Hewitt.
Louis attended Eversham All Age School. He was a member of the Guyana Police Force until 1989, when he migrated to the US settling in Albany. There he worked at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Denys Dyer.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan , son Roger (Allison), son Damien, grandchildren Sasha, Alexander and Damien, Jr. His siblings Verna, Herman,Vesta, Shelda, Averil, John, Marilyn, Frederick Myrna and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m., with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
