Louise B. Splatt, passed away on July 16, 2015. She was born 102 years ago in E. Pittstown, NY, to the late Walter F. and Florence Q. Bartling. She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School and went to work as a secretary at the Rice Seed Company in Cambridge NY. There she met her future husband Everett E. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters Eva Gates, Helen Eddy and Lois Haner, her brother Walter M. Bartling and several nieces.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Shirley L. Splatt of West Sand Lake and Linda (Greg) Gersch of Castleton-on-Hudson, and a niece and 2 nephews.
We would like to thank Peter and Ginny Ludder, owners of Ludder's Country Home in West Sand Lake where she lived for the past 2 years, and all of their staff for the loving care they gave Louise, and also thank the Rensselaer County Hospice for all of their care and concern.
