Louise Dithomas

July 25, 1921 — January 6, 2013

Louise DiThomas, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan 06, 2013 at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home with her loving daughter-in-law by her side. She was born in Schenectady, to the late John and Mary (Valentino) Fretto. Louise was an active member of Mt. Carmel Church for many years. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Orlando, her son Alan and many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Cindy DiThomas, her grandchildren, Alana (Doug) Koch and Alan DiThomas, great grandchildren Mary and Dougie Koch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Louise's niece Rosemary Fertal for all of the care and compassion given to her.

Funeral service for Louise will be Friday, Jan 11, 2013 at 9:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Luke's Catholic Church in Schenectady where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. A Calling hour will precede the Mass from 8 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
