Louise M. Greenwood

Louise May Greenwood, 85, wife of the late Gideon R. Greenwood, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. Louise attended Cobleskill-Richmondville High School and went on to become a hairdresser at Capri Salon in Schenectady, New York. She also attended nursing school through BOCES and worked as an LPN at Albany County Nursing Home for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and was an avid NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her son Gary Greenwood and his wife Tammy, her daughter Gail Beckenstein, her son Gregg Greenwood and his wife Laura, granddaughter Heather Beckenstein and grandson Dean Greenwood.

Friends and family may call Thursday April 6th from 11AM-12PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, Funeral Services will follow from 12PM to 1PM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery and Memorial Park, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Albany.
