COLONIE_Louise M. DeSieno, 87, of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family, on September 19, 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Louise was born on February 11, 1928, daughter of the late Gabriel and Philomena (Ruggiero) Renzi. On October 15, 1950 she married her beloved husband Carmen at Our Lady of Mt. Caramel Church, where she was also baptized.
Louise was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She treasured the times she spent spoiling her grandchildren, doing word puzzles and shopping with her friend and neighbor Joanne Corey. She always looked forward to taking trips to the casinos in Wildwood and Atlantic City with her siblings. Louise will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege to know and love her.
Louise is survived by her loving husband, of 65 years, Carmen, her children, Michael (Kimberly) DeSieno Sr., Kathleen DeSieno Fisler, Robert DeSieno, grandchildren, Cheyenne (Stacy) Smith, Brandi (Michael) Crosby, Michael (Linda) DeSieno Jr., Katelin DeSieno, great-grandchildren, Dylan Crosby, Chase Crosby, Chloe Crosby, Dylan DeSieno, brothers, Anthony (Bernice) Renzi, Gabriel (Carol) Renzi, Vincent Renzi, sisters, Marion Renzi and Carmella (Edward) Galligan.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Renzi.
The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful care given to Louise and her family during her time at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 5-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial for Louise will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 9:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
