Louise S. Kelly

COLONIE – Louise S. Kelly, 90, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2007.
Louise was born on April 25, 1916 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Francis and Maude Ellery Stangel. She lived in Colonie for many years and has resided at the Teresian House for the past 2 years.
Louise was a lifelong member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she enjoyed the activities at the church and bible study. She liked to cook, spend time visiting people and being with her family and friends.
Louise is survived by her children, Louis Thomas Urbano (Lorraine) of Colonie, Ronald J. Kelly (Mary) of Ballston Lake, Stephen P. Kelly of Schenectady, Patricia L. Marshall (Scott) of Schenectady; her brother, Leonard W. Stangel of Albany; her seven grandchildren, Christopher Urbano, Annmarie Kelly, Adam J. Kelly, Erin E. Kelly, Joseph S. Marshall, Sarah R. Marshall and Andrew S. Kelly; three great grandchildren, Daniel and Rachel Urbano and Schuyler Kelly and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Kelly and her sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Mildred Hayes and Jean Williams and her brothers, Chester, Francis and Stanley Stangel.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Colonie. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
