Louise Sunkis Shackett, 68, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2013 at Albany County Nursing Home.
Louise was born September 18, 1945, at Troy, N.Y. to the late Edward and Charlotte Sunkis.
She was preceded by her husband, John P. Shackett.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Robert) Mayo, her son Edward Sunkis. She is the cherished "Grammy" of Samatha Mayo. She is the beloved sister of, Eileen Sunkis and Irene Sunkis. She is also survived by her nephew, Darrell Coonrad.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's of Padua Shrine Church, 28 State Street, Troy NY
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
