Louise V. Pattison

ALBANY—Louise V. Pattison, 89, died at home on Thursday, October 27, 2011.
Louise was born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Stephen and Margery Boody Valentine. She was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Politcal Science. For many years, she held multiple administrative positions at the Cincinnati Country Day School. Louise was married for 61 years to Lee S. Pattison. She was a longtime member of Indian Hill Episcopal Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati. Upon retirement, Louise and Lee moved to Cape Cod where they were members of the Federated Church of Orleans. With her husband, she enjoyed many hours on Nauset Beach and in their little boat. They traveled to many countries around the world. Upon Lee's death, Louise relocated to Albany, NY where she became a member of the Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church in Guilderland, NY.
Her family is grateful that she celebrated her 89th birthday with her two children, grandchildren and great-grandchild in Portland, ME and Guilderland, NY. She left this life with all of us in her heart and she in ours.
Survivors include her daughter, Gerri Pattison and her partner, Greg Byrer; son, Stewart Pattison and his wife, M.J.; grandchildren, Abigail Ingalls, Benjamin Pattison (Allison) and Elizabeth Pattison; great-grandson, Connor Pattison; many dear family and friends.
A service of celebration of Louise's life will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 11 AM at the Federated Church of Orleans, 162 Main Street, East Orleans, MA 02643, following a private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's memory to a charity of one's choice.
