June 20, 1953 — July 7, 2014
Schenectady- Luanne Y. Klimek 61, passed away Monday July 7th 2014 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at her residence. Luanne was the daughter of the late Robert and Yvonne Chambers.
Luanne loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and also loved watching NASCAR and rooting for her favorite driver Dale Jr. #88.
Luanne is survived by her children April (Charles IV) Ody, Lori Boyd Klimek, Stacey L. Klimek, Gary R. Klimek Jr; her grandchildren, Emily, C.J., Caitlyn, Ricky, Danielle, Thomas, Michael and Stacey "Baby Girl"; and her siblings, Donna (Gordon) Putnam and George (Bonnie) Chambers. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and her beloved canine companion Bailey.
Luanne was predeceased by her siblings, Robert (Eileen) Chambers, Jr. and Richard Chambers.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral home on July 10th 2014 from 4pm to 6pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Luanne's name to Mountain Valley Hospice (Hospice of Fulton County) 108 Steele Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078.
