Lucy D. Fasano

Lucy D. Fasano, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Lucy was born in Mineola, Long Island to the late Randle and Ludovicha (Hartman) Wyatt. She loved to garden, was a great cook, enjoyed spending time on the beach, and loved being with her family. She was a model for Macys' department stores in New York City and later worked for the Department of Education at the Susan Wagner High School in the teacher's cafeteria. Prior to moving to the capital district Lucy and Jerry lived in Florida for over 18 years. Lucy was a true charmer, she never met a stranger, and everyone was her best friend.
Lucy is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Fasano; her cherished children, Robert and Ralph (Carol) Fasano and her adored grandchildren; Maggie, Samantha, Sarah and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ Our Light Church, 1Maria Drive, Loudonville where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 in Lucy's honor.
