CASTLETON – Lucy E. Loveland, 78, died on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Lucy was born on January 21, 1935 in Jefferson, NY and was the daughter of the late Stewart and Anna (Burton) Brownell. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis R. Loveland, her sister, Betty Clapper and her best friend, Evelyn Drake.
She enjoyed watching TV, doing jig saw puzzles, taking care of her younger siblings and spending time with her family.
Lucy is the mother of Frank R. Loveland and Lola (Jim) Lefavour; sister of Doris Ackerley, Hope Zeh, Dawn Allen, and Paul Brownell; and grandmother of Samantha Lefavour.
Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will take place at the West Jefferson Cemetery in Stamford, NY in the Spring of 2014.
